Disability Leaves
- Active, regular full-time employment for a specified period (e.g., 30–90 days).
- Medical documentation of a qualifying disability.
Coverage and waiting periods vary based on the specific insurance policy.
Short-Term (STD)
- You are eligible to receive STD benefits after you have been disabled for 14 days due to a non-work-related illness or injury.
- Replaces up to 60% of your eligible income, up to a maximum of $1,000 per week.
- Benefits end after 11 weeks.
Long-Term (LTD)
- You are eligible to receive LTD benefits after 90 days of disability.
- Replaces up to 50% of your eligible income, up to a maximum of $5,000 per month until you recover or reach your Social Security Normal Retirement Age, whichever is sooner.

An employee is covered under the ADA if they:
